I'd go with Eddie Futch ; he's more accomplished when it comes to taking a raw fighter and turning him into a piece of top talent.
Whereas with Duva ; he typically came after the fact, or was blessed with men who had already demonstrated an unnatural amount of raw talent and poential. (See ; Whitaker, and Taylor.)

Duva usually hired assistant trainers like George Benton to do the majority of the work.Originally posted by St Lion View Postfutch by a mile. duva is overrated and isnt even a propa trainer!Originally posted by The_Bringer View PostI'd go with Eddie Futch ; he's more accomplished when it comes to taking a raw fighter and turning him into a piece of top talent.

Not a contest: I don't even see Duva as a real trainer anyway while Futch is the best to ever work a corner. Props to Ray Arcel: He deserves to be up there too.

Defintly Futch, Duva's corner work with Taylor/Chavez fight was some of the worst ive seen...plus like previously mentioned he was blessed with talented fighters coming to him, aswell as getting other trainers to do the work. I think Ray Arcel is the greatest trainer of all time though
