Which sounds okay in theory but has me expecting another easy match for Ennis. Hopefully not.

His father was asked about Roiman Villa being Jaron's opponent, but sounded unsure, just stated that Roiman should be first in line.

He had also mentioned Thurman and Ugas were options, but not sure how legitimate that claim is considering the former is already in talkings with Spence while the latter has not been contacted, at least yet.

I felt like Ellis won the fight. He won at least 8 or 9 rounds, then gassed and started getting sloppy trying to cruise to the finish line. The optics of the knock downs were terrible, but that shouldn't have cost him the win that he earned from all the work in the earlier rounds. He got dropped, but he also got up.

Like Angelo Dundee used to say. What do you want a rematch for? You just had him and didn't get it done.

That dude Villa is a walking punching bag. Someone that can punch to the body would stop this oaf.

I'd like to see Villa vs. Rocha.

Because the alternative is Karen Chukhadzian - and Ellis vs. Chukhadzian is a TERRIBLE style matchup.
I don’t mind running it again but I do think the end result will be the same if not worse ( ko or tko )

Looks like the Showtime folks are pushing for this rematch and Ennis vs Thurman is probably being worked out.
