Martin was a full fledged contender, and the best one at PBC to boot. And his previous fight was a win over that same guy Shakur fought... He's got 50% more fights than Artem also. Holy double standards, Batman...

Suckar Stevenson has not fought anyone at 135. His so-called success was at lighter weights and he was no killer in those divisions. They gave him a shot with a guy who's nothing much and he couldn't close the show. You will notice that he gets hit when he actually tries to fight. Pure pressure fighters at this weight will show the truth. I predict that he will get stopped or outworked when the truth shows up.

Same thoughts. Six months ago I thought he'd be too much for Camaron Zepeda, but I've changed my opinion about that. Stevenson's fans are making a lot of excuses for his performances, but there are no excuses if he's really the elite fighter that he and the media claim he is. He's got real flaws and he doesn't like to scrap. A hard nosed pressure fighter with decent power and a good engine is going to expose this guy.

Paulie talking out his ass once again, artem an exciting fighter? Lol Non of those 2 are exciting never will be ,shakur has no killer instinct and no power he'll get beat by tank or zepeda wait and watch. Shakur is def not the very best at 135....at all.

Shakur has legit talent. So did Paulie. Unfortunately there is a limit to how far guys with no power can climb. I see Davis stopping him. Shakur took some clean shots against Hartunyan. Davis is faster and has big power.

There is a level in boxing, where it is not just about winning 'It is about how you win, and the level of performances'.

I honestly believe that Gervonta Tank Davis's level of performances skill for skill, have been higher than Shakur Stevenson's.

Prince Naseem Hamed, Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao, Roy Jones Junior 'Those fighters are all-time great fighters, not only because they won mega fights. They are all-time great fighters, because of the level of their performances and the action produced in those fights'.

At Elite level, sometimes it is the action produced in fights 'Which separates the best fighters in the World. It is a factor in performance which is very profound, and the general public find extremely difficult to pass over'.

Shakur Stevenson may have some top level wins, but does he really have a top level performance 'A performance which sends shockwaves around the world? I don't so'.

But it is that type of performance, which in my opinion 'Will force his nearest competitors to step up to fight him. Because right now? It is actually Shakur Stevenson that needs to step up and increase the level of his performances inside of the ring'.

Note: In comparison to another fighter in the Heavyweight Division Anthony Joshua 'Joshua's ambitions, since losing to Uysk twice have been clear. His intentions are to fight for a World title again, and then potentially the undisputed titles. Joshua has understood that at this stage of his career, and due to his position and dynamic in the competition at Heavyweight. Anthony Joshua has not only had to win fights, but he has needs to make big statements with his performances'.

Because that is how he will apply pressure to both Oleksandr Uysk and Tyson Fury 'It is difficult for boxing insiders and the general public, to pass over great performances. Especially when you can compare fighters, against common opponents'.

Anthony Joshua's performances have sent shock waves not only around the boxing world, but the entire combat sporting world.

Anthony Joshua has just obliterated Francis Ngannou 'A fighter who was up until that point in his combat career appearing, to be invulnerable to physical attacks'.

Such was the extreme of Joshua's victory it has sent shockwaves around the world 'Those shockwaves have altered the perception that fighters have of Ngannou. Whether Ngannou decides to continue in boxing or mixed martial arts, fighters are going to be confronting him differently now'.

And in Anthony Joshua's next fight vs Daniel Dubois, regardless of World titles 'Joshua has a opportunity to eclipse Oleksandr Uysk's performance vs Daniel Dubois'.

To conclude: Shakur Stevenson is solid fighter, but I disagree with the notion that 'His performances have proven that he is the best fighter in his division. Stevenson in my opinion needs a Shockwave level performance, because once a fighter produces that level of performances? It hits people on a instinctual level. He needs a Floyd Mayweather Junior vs Arturo Gatti, Mike Tyson vs Trevor Berbick, Michael Spinks, Prince Naseem Hamed vs Steve Robinson. The facts of his career are, is that he has not produced that level of performance'.

So lets it get right, Shakur Stevenson is the fighter that needs to step up the level of his performance's if people want to elevate him to such a level 'Stevenson currently right now, is just another solid Champion who has been getting his wins' etc.

Shakur doesn't have tools to beat Tank, not even his dream. Tank will definitely knock him out. Tank is gonna cut the ring and flatten him.

"Boring" defensive first fighters are always underrated & virtually always beat the overrated offense first fighters.

We saw this all the time with Rigondeaux, Lara, Mayweather, Whitaker, etc. . .who were always supposed to get beat down by whatever "killers" were out there, but never were.

                    Defensive skills>>>>>power
Levels to the game... Whitaker could hurt you... Specially with a counter, Mayweather? ditto. Rigo was elite. Shakur has not shown the same capacity compared to Loma for example... With LOma? you give him an inch and he becomes a physically strong, hard hitting, pressure fighter who will not let you breathe.

I'm no fan of tank, but he would have blasted out artem in 2-3 rounds max. Shakur can't seem to get out of first gear, and it's going to be really telling when he's in there against someone who will force him to go into another gear that he might not have.
