Wouldn't make any difference to Katie what Baumgardner had in her system. Katie would dog walk that trash around the ring, drugs or no drugs.

It’s difficult to explain how the PEDs she popped for were down to contamination, though.
Possible, but, very unlikely.

And I'm not singling her out. Canelo was his meat (didn't I read Chepo was a professional butcher lol?) Fury was uncastrated wild boar (HAHAHAHA at least he was creative). I don't know what the heck Jarrell Miller or any other these other guy's excuses were. I mean has anyone ever just said "Yeah I messed up and mis-timed my cycle, I'm sorry"?
The industry has a contamination problem, especially in the case of Clomid and a list of others. The problem with that is it gives these fighters a get out jail free card essentially as it can’t be proven that the exact supplement they took was contaminated.
So for example in Canelo’s case that you brought up, his excuse for his positive Clenbuterol test (x2) was contaminated meat in Mexico. Is it possible that he ate meat that was contaminated? Sure. Can it be proven? No. So now what? He can use it as an excuse without having to prove it solely due to the fact that the problem exists.
It’s pretty much the case for any fighter who fails a test because it’s almost always trace amounts consistent with contamination and what they pop for CAN feasibly be down to contamination. It’s a broken system.
For me? Someone who is very well versed in this field, there is zero excuse to fail a drug test. Simple as that. Why a fighter would buy an over the counter supplement knowing full well that there is a chance it could be contaminated makes no sense to me what so ever. The risk does not outweigh the rewards even remotely.
In Alicia’s case, she popped for two seperate compounds; Proviron and Primo. So, her excuse is even weaker. But, possible, so, yet another get out of jail free card. But that is more down to the weak commission she was popped in. I doubt she’d have got off Scott free in Vegas or New York for example where they’re stricter with that stuff.
Jarrel Miller is a rare case of getting popped for multiple compounds that can’t be caused by contamination. What he did was just plain idiotic, on top of overt cheating.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 09-26-2024, 06:17 PM.
