If people in western countries don't care, why would you expect a country whose society still imposes strict dress codes for everybody, not only women?
So much has been mentioned about the Saudi government's easing on restrictions, maybe, but most women still prefer to cover themselves in black clothing.
Ones who don't always seem out of place.

Historian? Women’s boxing was only marketed around the time of the World Football League when latter succumbed to a lack of demand and better competition. Women's boxing is a niche market inside of a slowly shrinking sport being pushed out by more competitive options.

To fault promoters for lack of interest in Women’s boxing is like blaming consumers for not paying $82,000 dollars for niche market electric pickup truck. There are important issues facing women in 2024 but the lack of interest in women's boxing isn’t one of them.

All this nonsense does is give idiot politicians the opportunity to exaggerate its absurdity and then label it as some big woke threat and not just the tiny fringe group it is, a group trying to be relevant in the age of fake outrage.

If you really want to do something for women, encouraging them to vote their best interest.

It’s not exciting enough. In MMA, women get brutal KO’s and stoppages. In boxing, it’s usually a pillow fight.

What a trash article. The West and specifically the US does not give a f.ũck about women’s boxing.
Savannah Marshall’s is a bigger star in Europe than Claressa Shield could ever dream to be in the US.

Also bǐtching about the money Saudi Arabia is dumping in boxing is the stüpǐdest thing on the planet.
Why can’t the great US pay boxers what they deserve?

We like to bǐtch about Saudi’s human rights issues, meanwhile, we are literally executing two people a week in the US. We just executed 6 people last week. Including innocent ones.

Where is the outrage about the US hosting the World Cup and the Champions League? Fũckïng selective outrage. .

                go blame them.

stop shoving it down the throats of male boxing fans. its not our job to pretend to care about it.

all women's sporting events are full of empty bleachers. women are 50 percent of the planet and more of them are childless, single and lesbians with higher income compared to men than ever before. they have time and money and STILL arent interested in showing up to womens sports. go blame them

                  Don't care about women's boxing?

Well I guess that's one thing I can agree with the Saudis about.

Why should they?? Those WOKE Western ideas are not the norm in certain places. The Saudis have their own ideas. Women should promote and sell their own cards with female fighters only, why you need men?? WNBA is leeching off NBA, why??

A man going out of his way to watch women's sports probably has a Jada Pinkette for a wife. Bossing him around.
