rematchroom until the hype job manages to win without rigged scorecards.
Felt really bad for Dave, he clearly won the first fight, rematch shouldn't even be happening.
Did Dave Allen catch Johnny Fisher by surprise the first time around? Maybe there was some complacency on the side of Fisher 'But regardless in my opinion, I agree with Dave Allen's views of Johnny Fisher. The first fight has shown Fishers performance ceiling, even if? Fisher was slightly off his game, and believed he could have executed a better fight. An up and coming potentially World level fighter, should be beating Dave Allen quite easily. Ether by blasting him out, or making things easier for himself and controlling the rounds'.
Johnny Fisher appeared to not have the ability to achieve ether of those objectives 'No matter how he fought Dave Allen, he was embroiled in a tough and brutal fight'.
Dave Allen stylistically is a fighter, who? If you struggle to stop in his tracks, and skill for skill you are not miles better than him 'Then he is going to force you into a very rough and challenging fight'.
Note: I was not really that interested in their first fight, and I did not even back a winner 'But I was concerned for Dave Allen. He has been known throughout his career for his durability and physical strength. But since he was systematically beaten up by David Price, he has never really shown a solid level of durability in my opinion'.
Dave Allen vs Johnny Fisher in some ways was a return to a solid level of form for Dave Allen 'He showed resolve, durability and even a certain level of skill. I would fully expect Allen to be in even better condition for this rematch, as? Even after a controversial loss, Allen has some momentum in his career which he can build from with his team'.
To conclude: Johnny Fisher is still the favourite for the rematch, and really he should be winning the fight 'If he aspires to achieve any feats beyond domestic level. Fisher needs to realize that potentially? He may not have the power to blast Dave Allen out. So therefore Fisher needs to make the fight easier for himself and just aim to accumulate points and win the rounds'.
It is quite astonishing that Dave Allen has never won any titles during his professional career 'You would of expect Allen at the peak of his career, to at least won some sort of domestic title, but he has not. If the WBA Intercontinental Heavyweight title is on the line again in this rematch, then this will make the fight more significant. Can Dave Allen win the rematch, and win his first professional boxing title that is essentially the main driving theme of the fight' etc.
