Comments Thread For: Shakur Stevenson fine with William Zepeda next, open to unification with Gervonta Davis

Shakur Stevenson is perfectly fine with facing his mandatory challenger next, but that?s not to say those plans couldn?t change if the right blockbuster opportunity came along.?

It's not going to be Zepeda next. He's bringing up Tank. Right now Tank can't even turn the kitchen light off because he has roach problems. I hate this side of boxing....

This fvkcing boring bum already turned down a stank fight hence why Bronx2245 stop cheerleading for the fight

Shakira really using it as a negotiation tactic is hilarious. Turki, zepeda and Oscar don't give af

Smart man. Shakur needs to take the fight against Zepeda. All eyes will be on him. Call him whatever, but when he soundly beats Zepeda, perhaps he'll start to get the respect that he deserves. His stock will definitely rise. He also gets closer to the A Side against Tank. By daring to be great, his name will start to be mentioned with the greats in the division/sport.

Shakur DIDN'T turn down a fight with GTD. Espinoza recently came out and cleared things up saying a contract was N-E-V-E-R sent! Stop with nonsense. Shakur has been one of the most consistent in calling out GTD while they keep coming up with excuses and no contract being sent, E-V-E-R!!

Nobody at 135 beats Shakur, especially not Zepeda. Shakur is gonna pick that boy apart.

Shakur has been begging for a fight with Tank for a long time and, quite frankly, it is embarrassing. It is obvious that Tank does not want to fight him. Shakur's next fight will be with Zapeda and, once again, it will be a boring points decision. No, he is not going to beat anybody up because that is not his style. He does not open up and let his hands go with anyone half dangerous because he does not want to be countered.

For all the talk, name calling and bravado, we have seen the script play itself out a number of times so we know what to expect. I will not be paying for the fight but will be ******ing it if I have nothing better to do on that day. Shakur is not a "must watch" show on my list.

                Exactly.

Not like he's been hiding them either, his opposition's knowledge of said skills & subsequent unwillingness to try stalking him has literally always been the precise reason his fights go like they do.

Hard disagree, not once has any guy acted as dangerous as he claimed to be once he encountered Shakur Stevenson in a professional boxing ring.

Hard disagree? Did you watch his fight with Artem Harutynyan? Every time Shakur hurt him and had in in trouble he would back off. Did he ever open up and let his hands go on Edwin de los Santos? I am not mentioning his last fight because that was a last minute substitute part time boxer.
