I used to like Bakole and thought he would give most heavies a tough night but the same he was in for the Parker fight was shameful even if it was the latest of notice. That he is only 11lbs lighter 3 months later tells you his level of committment to the game.
Alvarez told DAZN host that, “I don’t really ****ing care about the height, about the size,” when asked about Scull’s height advantage. “When you’re a good fighter, it doesn’t matter. I don’t care, I’ve been in there with everybody.”
Except when it comes to fighting Benavidez, the guy that was his mandatory and the guy that was beating up everyone at 168.
The writer here really thrashing on Skull is out of line. He may not have what it takes to win this fight but that doesn’t mean he’s pure garbage like he’s implying. Skull has great movement and fast hands. Crawford knows better when he said it would be a tricky fight for the Mexican.
