Garcia said the key is for trainer Freddie Roach to ensure Pacquiao gets in quality running and sparring sessions
How do we know Roach will be training him? This isn't 2009 anymore. Pretty sure Pac had a different trainer for his last few fights, or at least the ones that didn't matter much like Matthysse and some other one.

I see posts like "why did manny choose barrios and not boots or norman, he's cherrypicking!"

maybe it has something to do with manny and barrios being pbc fighters under contract with amazon?
boots work with hearn and dazn
norman with top rank and espn

manny vs barrios is the easiest deal to make
      hearn hates pacquiao
bob and pacquiao bitterly parted ways

Knob gobbling way of looking at this.

The sport would be uplifted should a young champion needing exposure gain it from beating a popular, aging veteran and sending him into retirement..

Why wouldn’t any boxing fan want that?

Lol you.didn't want floyd to go out like you want pac to. With.floyd it was always he's earnt the right to do what he wants whether it's fight berto, or connor mcgregor? With pac you want him flat on his back or face? Lol

Fight. The only guy not really fighting is Barrios. Hence why he got the fight.

Floyd did over 1.5 mil ppvs 5 or 6 times. He was the cash cow. He was uplifting the sport every time.

I don’t view him as anything other than what I’ve posted multiple times- an ATG HOFer that is clearly the 2nd best of Floyd’s era/generation.

                    That was corny.

what makes you think Manny will lose??? so the sport would be uplifted if a young champion beat down on an old champion? how so? Everyone would be saying "he beat a washed up pacquiao"...The young champions need to fight each other. That's one way to uplift the sport... Inoue vs Cardenas made a lot of noise, and it wasnt a young champion beating on an old champion... it's called having the balls to fight and put on an exciting show!! there's enough young guys right now that can do this, but half of them are too scared to fight and instead wanna display the "sweet science" that yall brag about......
