All Haney needs to do is put together the performance we all know he can to shut everyone up.

    Will he?

All Haney needs to do is get the fire back and reignite his passion for boxing.

    Can he?

Haney was professional. He cut the weight and fought at the contractually agreed upon weight limit. However, Ryan deliberately did not.

He chose to cheat by gaining an upper hand by weighing approximately four pounds over the contractually agreed upon weight limit through the use of PEDS.

Now this same loser is scapegoating Oscar De La Hoya for his loss to Rolly Romero. Is it ever this kid’s fault or it is always somebody else’s fault?

When will he ever man up and take personal responsibility and full accountability for his own actions and mistakes?
I don't think anyone is blaming Devin for Ryan's behavior, not even Ryan. As for the mud Ryan is currently slinging at Oscar, it seems to be over a new payout contract for a future fight against Rolly and he's obviously hurt or jealous at the attention that was given to Schofield and Zurdo by GBP for their latest victories..

As for Devin, his immediate future is pretty clear. If he beats Norman in convincing fashion, he'll be back on top with his career and will win back many fans, not all fans, but some/many fans.

If he loses or fights the way he fought against Ramirez, he'll continue to be ridiculed by most boxing fans and the fickle social media zombies. I personally wish him the best and believe that he'll fight like the Devin of old, we shall see, but deciding to fight Norman is something anyone would expect from a fighter claiming to be a superstar and elite. Credit shouldn't be given to him for accepting to fight Norman, but all credit should be given to him if he does beat Norman.

Devin is a highly skilled boxer, if his pops would use his social media to display humility instead of arrogance, he wouldn't get so much hate.

What are you talking about? The Haney’s are throwing this kid a lifeline that he hadn’t earned.

Devin doesn’t need to take this fight as he hasn’t nothing to prove.

What has Brian Norman achieved in this sport other than winning an e-mail title to deserve such an opportunity?

When Devin wins everyone is going to say that Brian Norman, Jr was just too green.

A very skilled fighter at that!

Either Unca' Bob is trying to sell the fight, or he's making pre-excuses for Norman's inability to beat Haney. Maybe a little bit of both,

No doubt, Haney CAN fight, and hopefully he DOES fight Norman properly.

Absolutely delusional. The guy is at welterweight now. No way he's gonna give us a great performance fighting guys his own size. He barely gave us a great performance fighting guys he outweighed 20-25 pounds

Nothing to prove? How about beating a guy his own size for once. So you're really just content if he stayed at welterweight not fighting Norman cause he has nothing to prove? Ridiculous

Bob may be a grade-A slime ball and he may be a hypocrite but he's no dummy. Bob is trying to dissuade Haney from not getting on his bike and trying to stick and move his way to a boring UD over his fighter Norman.

The judges will hear these comments, Haney and his team will heat these comments. Maybe Haney decides to trade more with Norman which benefits Bob's fighter....If Haney does run his way maybe it sways how the judges score it, if. It then Bob blames the loss on Haney's running.

It's probably just words but Bob usually tries every angle...and he likes to talk s#it.
