If I watch that fight 100 times not knowing the results afterward I would find it hard to believe that was the end result, but that is just a reminder about how badly a dude can get ****ed up in boxing even in a situation that doesn't look that bad.
I came away from it thinking man was Colon exposing the back of his head lot as a form of defense and a way for the ref to try and bail him out. It was a dirty fight but nothing that had me thinking WTF. The Ref could have done a better job but how many times have we said that about a ref during a fight.
I feel really bad for Colon and pray he can somehow get out of his coma and come to some normalcy. But he didn't fight a good fight at all and he exposed that head of his a too much and he paid the price, which is a shame, but boxing is a dangerous sport and if you are not smart in there you can get seriously hurt.

Some of you are so off. Terrel Williams has a long history of rabbit punching before this fight. Colon has never had this issue in other fights. Go watch their other fights on YouTube. Williams tendency is to reach around and hit the back of the head ON THE CLINCHES. Colon wasn't turning, neither were his other opponents. Cooper was obviously favoring Williams in this fight. He didn't listen to Colon a single time about the punches, and only took a point when Colon was obviously out of it. I have no doubt that the only reason Colon made it that far was on adrenaline. I think he was fighting concussed most of the way. The Commissioner should be ashamed. His actions from the outside put Colon in more danger. There was nothing Colon could have done. He was fighting for his life.
