    I don't think too high of a diet with high sodium, I'd go with a lower sodium diet to get rid of that unwanted water weight.

    But more importantly by far, higher sodium diets are very unhealthy because they can cause hypertension(high blood pressure), water/fluid retention as mentioned above, kidney stones, and the all dangerous heart disease.

    And the thing is, most Americans eat a lot more sodium than they should, most twice the recommended amount, and in those situations the body needs more potassium, which I can safely bet that most Americans do not get.

    To limit your sodium intake, don't go out to eat, but if you do stay away from fast food. Stay away from fried foods, and limit your starch and meat intake. A healthy meal replacement from a normal meal that has a high amount of sodium would be a protein shake and/or bar; but also make sure that shake or bar is not loaded with saturated fats and sugar.

      Good stuff, I been cooking my food for last year now and dont fry at all. I do grill only and I do it rarely. Really seemed to help in my wokring out, when I started eating more or less properly.
      I heard salt is also pretty bad for you, so add lemon juice.

        Salt = Sodium
        Really good methods of cooking; grilling and adding lemon juice. Some foods actually taste better with a hint of lemon juice or lime juice instead of salt.

                A overview of all the basic supplements, or do you need only some specific ones?

                  Thats something ive been aware of for a long time. But its very hard to not have a diet with high sodium. For me its hard to get away from even tho I try. Do u think it has any effect on someone in training trying to build muscle?
