I still can't fathom how beating up old men, some of whom aren't even former boxers, qualifies Paul to get a shot at a current boxing champion.

So, what you're saying is, Wilder should dash any plans to become a philosopher after boxing. Am i right?...

People may not realize that Crawford is essentially jumping up three weight classes, not two. He moved up to 154 to barely beat Madrimov a year ago. Now a year later, he's moving up to 168, a weight that he's never fought at. He's going to feel heavy and slow @168, but with the power of a 147 pound...

"NEWS FLASH! Damn near thirty-eight-year-old Terence Crawford contacts Turki Alal Shiek and tells him that he wants a fat retirement check to fight Canelo!" That's not news, that's common knowledge. So yeah, no shit, Sherlock.Last edited by SUBZER0ED; 06-24-2025, 07:01 PM.

This is the perfect opponent for Alvarez, someone he's favored to beat. He just doesn't realize that pointing it out doesn't look good for him in his quest to be the goat Mexican boxer....pretty boy_ likes this.

Canelo has never been very fleet of foot, and Bud likes to stand his ground and fight more than move away....

I've heard of a woman's ass called a lot of things, but "succulent" is a new one. Interesting!...

Crawford's lack of superior power will embolden Canelo to come after him. And Bud's not exactly known to be so fleet of foot to be in and out like Mayweather was vs Alvarez. Add to that the facts that he's moving up 14 lbs and he's nearly 38, and I just don't see him outboxing Alvarez with sticking...

Agreed, Cinnamon still has nightmares about Bivol, especially since he beat Beterbiev. And he pees himself at the thought of facing Benavidez. Crawford realizes that he's nearly 40 and only really has one big payday vs Spence. This fight is a retirement check for him, especially if it's hard and/or...

I've said that I'd like to see Crawford retire Canelo, but in reality, I doubt that happens. People talk about Canelo not stopping Scull, but William ran around most of the fight. We know that Canelo fights flat-footed and hates chasing people around. Let's not forget that Crawford barely beat Madrimov...

I'm not sure how all of these seasoned fans don't see this stunt as selling the fight....IceTrayDaGang likes this.
