The hearts and minds of people have to change, and no human government can make people do that. The first step is to find people who recognize their spiritual needs and are willing to correct the intentions of their hearts and minds, making them over into what God approves. The second step is to identify what is poisoning people spirituality and to make it unavailable. The third step is to understand that the only one with the power to correct these problems is God and that he has promised to do so.

(Proverbs 2:20-22) . . .So follow the way of good people, and stay on the paths of the righteous, 21 For only the upright will reside in the earth, And the blameless will remain in it. 22 As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, And the treacherous will be torn away from it.

Red - Exactly.

Green - He has all that power and is not using it effectively. You like to blame people for turning their backs on Him but He has all that power and isn't intervening. The blame is strictly on Him.

The mayor could and should do a lot more to encourage vigorous prosecution of criminals after they are arrested, as opposed to low or no bails and release back onto the streets. The major factor for criminals being from poor (or even not poor) neighbors is not a problem fixed by giving the poor money. The problem (criminals and poverty) is the absence of fathers in the home and thus the root problem is one of morality and the rejection of personal responsibility..

So how do you expect the mayor to fix a fatherlessness and morality issue?


No one said giving money to the poor. I said investing in poor neighborhoods. That's certainly not the same thing as just giving money to the poor.

Also, pretty sure I just showed you that he is on the DA's ass for not holding criminals responsible. So I'm not really sure what you've added here.

I think everything bombed when he revised a lot of laws in the last 2 years.

He didn't really change much from DiBlasio who lifted bail for criminals. The no bail policy is allowing repeat offenders to walk free and commit more crimes. Criminals are emboldened in these ******* cities now. It doesn't help that Mayor Adams has a ******* DA who won't enforce the laws for hardened criminals yet insists on such a high bail for a guy defending himself. I know the mayor has been at odds a few times with the new DA, but he also hasn't shown much in the way of enforcing crime himself. He is a grandstander concerned only with publicity that can keep him moving forward and rewarding his family and friends with jobs.

I thought they changed a lot of laws where certain lower-end crimes where no longer considered crimes.

Pregnant woman beaten with wrench in broad-daylight NYC attack

A stranger brutally beat a pregnant woman with a wrench in a broad-daylight Bronx attack, shocking video released early Friday shows.

The footage – released by the NYPD – shows the suspect confronting the 26-year-old woman in the middle of the street on Grand Concourse near East Fordham Road around 5:20 p.m. Monday, and pushing her up against a parked car.

He can then be seen repeatedly whacking the victim in the head with the metal tool.

He later got into a silver BMW as a crowd gathered, some surrounding the injured victim.
