I use to be a big bird/Celtics fan as a kid

Then when i moved to Los Angeles i became a lakers fan

I remember exactly when I became a lakers fan

    June 1991

I needed magic to stop Jordan from winning a championship

Lakers let me down but stayed with the lakers ever since

All I ever see kids in are Jordans. Nike has such a hold on the market and they are expensive as fvvck while probably still mistreating kids in sweat shops. I haven't bought a pair of Nikes since 6th grade when I had the Bo Jacksons.
I wanted those shoes soooo bad when I was a kid. Best my parents could do was gymco shoes haha. It was even worse because I played ball daily and bros would laugh at my white trash ass.

Remember the reebok pumps? I wanted those also but we had to eat.

When you grow up broke AF and have kids it's tough not to spoil them when they do good in school. I think its more for how I felt and less about what she really wants.

        The money is there

If some schools are underfunded thats because the funds are not making it to that school

        we dont need more money

We need that money to be spent better
Well yea, I'm not saying the Fed should create more money. Of course the money is in the U.S. But where it goes....there is probably so much dumb shlt our money goes to that we will never know. Like to Matt Gaetz' coke habit.

That's a joke. I have no evidence that he snorts coke off of underaged girls.

          Reebok pumps was the best

          I had so many

My favorite was the one where the pump was a basketball

          Reebok pumps were expensive though

I think they were like $100 back in the 1980s-1990s

I'm not even talking about us money in general, they spend a lot

But just specifically money for education

I remember $700 billion for schools and that was years ago

              Probably $1 trillion now

But that's local, county, state, fed together

probably a national program would be best

But no one will agree to it

I had the reebok pumps, but they seemed kinda defective. lol. The pump was hard to push for some reason, but they did get tighter round my ankles. I almost forgot I had those.

My mother did a good job making sure I had enough to blend in though we were dirt poor. Not the same decisions I would make as a parent, but I can understand why she did it. Plus I was doing exceptionally well in school so I think that's how she justified it.

Man, you gotta spoil the kids just a little. I feel lucky that my mother didn't make me feel the full weight of how poor we were. I think that's why I'm not about the paper chase and never have been. I've always felt fulfilled with what I have. I know sometimes kids nowadays don't appreciate how good they have it. But every now and then it feels good to make them feel special. Would be nice if this could be done with "life experiences" but they'd rather a nintendo switch or whatever in most cases.

Right. And I have no idea why.

Is making all schools of equal quality along the lines of Communism? Because if so, I might be a Communist.

                      States rights

Same reason why we can't have great police

If we have a national police with standardized training

Then pool all those resources together as 1 and deploy them evenly and as needed

                      We'd have better policing

                      But it would never happen

they rather have town cops, city cops, county sheriff's, state police, state highway patrol, fbi, atf, dea, etc.

                      Waste of money tbh
