          Lobster.

I've recently been making lobster tails in the air fryer. Very, very good eating.

I dont think the vessels can. They have contracts with the processors.

Maybe you can find some at a Fisherman's Wharf.

If you're near a wharf, try the shops there.

I remember as a little kid my grandparents would go to a coastal area with rows of seafood shops and buy fresh seafood.

It was the first time I'd ever seen whole fish up for sale.

They are both great. I'd go for a Maine Lobster over a King crab though.
People are very creative in the way they prepare lobster from what I have seen and eaten, whereas crab legs are pretty much the same basic style.

I've never had a crab bisque better than a lobster bisque etc, and just so many ways people prepare lobster.

Maybe a factor is i rarely eat alaskan king crab cuz it's $60 per order and only 1 restaurant chain in houston that i know of has this on their menu..

As opposed to lobstet where i can go to any seafood rest including red lobster and they have it.. even in grocery stores they sell live and lobster tails..

Fyi.. alaskan king crab is not the same as just any king crab..

I prefer prawn then crab then lobster, perhaps give prawns big prawns the same side dish as lobster (butter etc) and I think you have a subjectively better dish, I think we irrationally put rare things in a higher order than common things (lobster over crab or prawns merely because they are harder to catch more rare and expensive but not necessarily better) , and we tend to prefer what we eat from childhood/often too (not many of us grow up on lobster) I know it doesn't always work like that but it often does
