Super middleweight contender Jakob Bank of Denmark will have home advantage when he fights Germany’s former belt-holder Tyron Zeuge on September 13 in Kolding.
The Danish city’s council will sponsor the event and, according to paper Jydske Vestkysten, will pay 100,000 kr (approximately $15,000) to do so.
Bank, 16-0 (8 KOs), is 24 years old, co-promoted by Danish Primetime who will stage the event, and trained by Joey Gamache.
The 33-year-old Zeuge, 29-2-1 (16 KOs), has won two since being outpointed by Zach Parker in March last year. He has held versions of the WBA title in the past but has not really figured on the world scene since losing to Rocky Fielding in 2018.
