He became much more erratic and illogical after he beat Klitschko. He may have lost his mind. But sudden fame and huge fortune can do that to a formerly poor young man from humble beginnings. "Nothing is so cruel as a man raised from lowly station to prosperity." - Claudian

I actually believe Fury's allegations. He somehow seems to have discovered some secret truths about Klitschko and shared them. No way he made that all up. He became a notorious liar when he had to duck Joshua and Usyk, lies/deceptions for self preservation and survival instincts.

Once he took over the HWT throne, he lost confidence and dedication and took the path of least resistance. Wilder was nothing, Fury dodged Joshua, then tried to dodge Whyte but was forced to fight him, then tried to dodge Usyk and was forced into fighting him also both times. Fury wanted to keep fighting easy opponents he knew he could beat. He wasn't sure he could handle Whyte (who beat him up in sparring), AJ or Usyk. Fury became fat lazy and greedy. It's really incredible he's still running away from AJ.

That required him to hire a nanny so he could train. Because he was a 39 yr old heavy slowing down, see the Bryant Jennings prior fight. He was still good enough to want to right a wrong as the Joshua fight showed in a knock down drag out Brawl. Blubber ran from that rematch and eventually suspended for PED use.
