Make sure your English is correct - the title of this thread should read 'writing an article on fighters with no amateur background in boxing'. I don't mean to be pedantic, but the little things do make a difference.

Correction. Maricano had 12 i believe and he lost most of them. Duran had little Amatuer experience as well.

not sure but unless Mundine fought as an am before he turned pro at rugby league (i doubt they would allow the risk of injury whilst under a rugby contract) he'd be a good shout

Correction, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. does have amateur experience. However, not too much. He even fought Jorge Paez's son and beat him.

chavez sr had none, aswell as jr. Billy Conn had none. Dwight Muhammad Quawi had none. Roberto Duran had 13-3 as an amateur. Salvador Sanchez had 4. Bernard hopkins did not have no 100 amateur fights, thats bs trust me, Dan rafael said he had hardly no amateur fights. Ricardo Lopez had a brief amateur career, olivarez, margarito- in fact majority of mexicans had little to no amateur background. Hope i helped- peace......
