    Poll prediction - KATSIDIS v MITCHELL - KHAN v MALIGNAGGI

    Big Fight POLLS - 2 big fights next weekend - Katsidis v Mitchell - Khan v Malignaggi - how do you think they'll go?

    Can Mitchell battle his way past the tough Katsidis or will it all end in tears? Are we underestimating home-boy Malignaggi by seeing Khan as favourite or will Khan's punch power be too much for the New-Yorker? Will both British fighters come through to set up an all-British encounter?

    The umaronline.com polls are asking, firstly, what will be the outcome of Kevin Mitchell v Michael Katsidis? and secondly, what will be the outcome of Amir Khan v Paulie Malignaggi?

    Get voting on the outcome @

    Lots of predictions have been flying around here but it will be good to get a more accurate percentage of how people think the fights will go.

      I'm going to rewatch Katsidis-Escobedo and Mitchell-Prescott.

      Not the exact same level or style of what they will be facing, but I can catch their tendencies that the other has a good shot at exploiting and come up with a solid prediction.

        Katsidis wins, Mitchell is another over rated UK fighter.

        Khan wins, Malignaggi sucks.

          I picked Mitchell to beat Prescott. Mitchell is one of the slickest fighters out today and without analyzing I'm pretty sure Katsidis won't blow the kid out.

          It's gonna take a lot for me to pick against Khan. I'm gonna dig into the archives to see if he has real trouble against speed. Even then, I'll probably convince myself out of picking Paulie.

          Dibella has done a great job matching up Paulie in his career. Except for Hatton, it's been slow plodder after slow plodder and even then, Paulie wasn't consistently impressive. As soon as he saw someone that could match his foot speed and somewhat fast hands, he didn't look good at all.

            khan sure looked good in his one rounder against world ranked #60
            salita. but so what!... who's salita!
            khan still isn't proven to me. he gets past paulie i jump on his bandwagon. paulie more than a live underdog!!

              Katsidis v Mitchell very much neck and neck at the minute.

              On the poll: - Kev just edging it - just -
              KATSIDIS Win by Stoppage/KO 27.5%
              -------------on Points 13.7%
              MITCHELL Win by Stoppage/KO 25.5%
              -------------on Points 33.3%

              On Khan v Malignaggi - 81% of you reckon Khan will win either on points, by stoppage/KO.

                katsidis has been in wars and is very good inside,i don't know how good mitchell is cause i only seen one fight of his.but i like katsidis for this fight on experience.as for amir i have a gut feeling that he'll get stoped.i know call me crazy.

                  I can't see Khan losing this fight, both have speed but Khan has more power.
                  The mitchell fight could go either way but I'm going to back Kev to come through with a hard fought decision, he is a lot better than Graham Earl!

                    Mitchell's big advantage is his tiny pin-head that Katsidis might have trouble finding! Katsidis and Khan all the way.
