Khoren Gevor has withdrawn - the day before the purse bids was to take place at the EBU office in Rome - from his position as mandatory challenger for EBU 160 lb champ Amin Asikainen. With neither Gevor nor his stablemate at Universum, Felix Sturm, interested in the EBU title it means that the new official challenger for Asikainen will be the man he beat to win the title, Sebastian Sylvester, who�s promoted by Sauerland Event. Gevor most likely eyes a shot at the WBO title in the near future while Sturm wants a rematch with WBA ruler Javier Castillejo.
