He twists so much into his punches that I thought he would get tired, he gets a lot of torque on his punches. I was going to pick ioka. Glad I sat on the fence.

I predicted a draw. I had a feeling age might catch up to Ioka just enough. Let's see Bam vs. Martinez now for 3 belts. Maybe in Florida or CA.

Line him up for Bam. Unless Gallo insists on a rematch.

Do I detect a certain tone of disrespect for Martinez? As if he is cannon fodder?

I do think Bam wins that as Martinez is just too wild - but I try to enjoy the moment. In boxing there's a too much focus on 'what's next' - bit like finishing a good lunch and immediately asking whats for dinner.

On the other hand, I can sympathise a little with that because the wheel of boxing spins ridiculously slow, everything takes too long to play out - multiples of years instead of multiples of months.

Line him up for Bam as in let’s get a unification.

Bam was looking to unify against Ioka so why not against Martinez now?

Great firefight, and a good change to prove that decision doesn't automically equal boredom like the last night. Personally for me the question is whether Ioka retires, or will Tanaka still try to get his rematch for revenge of his only loss in his career? Even without a belt on Ioka, an Ioka-Tanaka NYE fight in Japan would still do well enough in Japan while Bam and Martinez firefight in US.

That being said the 120-108 judge needs to be fired in general. Martinez won the match so there is no issue with the result itself, but you literally had to be blind to mark it full mark.
