Thurman has very underrated resume

People hate him for some reason, but Thurman beat Danny Garcia and Porter, which are also Spence`s the best wins. I don`t remember Thurman ever being top 10 p4p?

Crawford`s claim to fame is beating very shot version of Spence, that was in top 10 p4p for some reason by that time.

Thurman`s only loss is against one of the best boxers in the last 20 years. No shame about that.

I never understood why The Ring had Spence in the top 10 P4P rankings for the longest time (2017-2024) but they never had Thurman in the P4P rankings when they both nearly had the same record.

I found out that even the smallest differences in their record could be the difference between being a top 10 P4P fighter.
Their only difference is that Thurman did not fight Brook and Mikey.

The Ring put Spence in the top 10 P4P for beating a damaged Brook (after fighting GGG) and they kept him in the top 10 for beating another P4P fighter, lightweight Mikey.

I assume that is cause of all Once Upon a Time’s injuries and his one foot in or out of boxing
Had he stuck to his plan and played boxing instead of all the nonsense , then I would gladly have him in the p4p but obviously that wasn’t the case

Folks on here only starting trashing Thurman because he took an L against Pacman... If Thurman never fought Manny or would have won that fight, lots of folks on here would still be hyping him up. Thurman was once seen as someone who could beat Floyd, but that fight never happened then Thurman took on Manny and loss and that's when the folks on here started dissing him. If you look at all of Manny's opponents, soon as they lose to Manny, folks on here starts saying that they were never good to begin with to discredit the win from Pacman.

Well according to Iron Dan, Spence was the #1 welterweight in the world when he got the mutha luvin brakes beat off him by Crawford, and Iron Dan, referenced Ring Mag as his source.

I agree! Another thing is that he is of mixed race, acknowledges it, doesn’t come off as being a villain, but yet a warrior. A warrior with a mind that is sharp. Let’s face it, none of us is beating Keef then, now or later!

He has some solid wins under his belt but he is not the same fighter 5-7 years ago who won those fights.
