      Both should be happy with their accomplishments. Not many UK fighters have won Olympic gold (JDG was the 4th IIRC?) and he was the first one to go on to win a pro world title. His talents and skillset always seemed more suited for the ams, and his best win was using that style vs Dirrell, I hated how often he sat on the ropes and lost rounds but overall he made the most of the ability and qualities he had.

      The article mentions Darren Sutherland, he could be hanging up his gloves as a former world champ around now if things had gone differently, still feel for his family, tragic story.

        It’s true now it’s all said and done I think both can sleep easy at night with what they’ve achieved in their careers.

          bitter pill to swallow for degale to lose to Groves and Eubank at the end of his career, he lost against his domestic rivals on the biggest stage.
