To be fair, Zaha to Chelsea is an absolute no-brainer for the summer. He’s just reached his peak now as an athlete and a man. Spurs might be an option if they spend cash.

Buying 17-year-olds is just a bit risky. Because they can just plateau anyway. Fergie traditionally didn’t like doing it although he later.

Also I’ve said it loads of times too. Luke Shaw HAD to go to Chelsea. It is likely Mourinho spooked him. But for a lad of that age he’d have been living at home surrounded by his family, Chelsea train in Surrey, and he would have been given a lot of slack to step into Ashley Cole’s shoes. Specifically by the fans.

I wouldn’t recommend too many players to join the Chelsea circus. But Shaw made a huge error.

Shaw would've been good to join Chelsea. Specially at that time, since his only competition was a terrible Filipe Luis.
