Odd life is. Because Chelsea really signed that Portuguese forward, I've not seen half as much Chelsea this season as any other season.

I think I got more birds than games watched since that declaration

Went to Portugal in November and Berlin in December and still not seen Chelsea matches. I know they're overachieving a bit. That new manager bounce is a phenomenon at Chelsea for sure.

They'll come back down to earth surely. Win the conference league for the annual addition of silver to the trophy cabinet and then they get found out. Or Palmer leaves which hwould be disastrous.

Big Trevoh getting the recall from Crystal Palace.

Chelsea targeting Garnacho from Man United is a weird one. Decent player but already have Sancho on loan. What's the point of Sancho if you buy the guy that replaced him at Man United?

I actually think a Sparked XI could beat this current tottenham team.

Seriously seriously bad. They're up there with the relegation battling spurs team of the mid 90s.

Ange reminds me of a poor mans Roberto Martinez. And he was gash.

For sure, Son leaves Tottenham at this rate right? They can't possibly keep him if they finish mid-table or below.

It would be something, I say this a bit begrudgingly, if Liverpool (!) were to transfer Son to their club. Son left, Salah right? Nightmares.

He'll be 33 this year, I think he's pretty much done. There were rumours Klopp wanted him a few years ago but couldn't be done once we made the top 4 that year.

The only players any top team would want from this lot are probably the 2 CB's, and one of them is perma-injured and the other could be seen as a liability.

Maybe Kulu on his day and I guess the kid Gray looks pretty good as well but theres really not a lot of quality there.

I think I'm probably better than Levi Colwill.

Udogie as well I suppose, Maddison would get a sideway move to us if he was a Brazilian embryo.

I would say apart from the Liverpool surrender at least Spurs are interesting.

Chelsea from Christmas onwards must ge the dryest team in football. If you found all the components of modern footy that made it rubbish and shoehorned it into a team - its Chelsea.

Inverted fullbacks, split centre backs and the keeper having 100 touches a game, no quick attacks, no long passes, no shots from range, no overlaps. I mean, we could have better players but even if we did with the current manager's 'system' it would still be horrible.

The early season run looks like a positive hangover from that Poch run. This guy is like Russell Martin was at Soton. I dunno how these managers get so arrogant when nobody has ever heard of them.

I don't expect Chelsea to win stuff or even qualify for the CL but you have to always provide some sort of entertainment unless you are Chelsea's Mourinho and you win every week.
