Hmmm. Looks to me more like the darker dog was excitedly tearing over to join in their play, which granted isn't really acceptable, but I didn't get the sense the boy was actually being attacked.

That said GSDs are wonderful protectors and companions in my experience. Not planning on having dogs again for the foreseeable but if / when I do I'll have another German Shepherd.

I believe the same thing. That dog definitely didn't look vicious.

But the way the G.S. immediately covered the kid twice was so impressive.

So many trash unleashed mutts running wild. Don't let your kids play with dogs unattended like that holy ****ing christ. And you call that an attack? I had my leg eviscerated at 13 years old by a K9 unit German Sheppard who are basically trained to kill. These ****ing things should all be chained up or on a leash at all times. I don't get people's insane worship of dogs. Especially big powerful biting dogs when none of these ****ing idiots know how to even train them. Funny how you need a license/training for a gun in a lot of places but any idiot or 100 pound skank can have a pit, rotweilier or sheppard etc and it's all good. Many of them are "rescues" who are probably full of issues and aggression. **** I hate dogs.

- - My community not to put too fine a point on it is pro ******** unless it's a pregnant pitbull being used for further propagation of illegal dog fights. Ultimately most of these dogs end up in the No Kill dog shelters where they given Pavlov Behavioral Dog Therapy to release them to our silly soft populace where they attack anything that moves when off leash. I've chased off uncountable dozens, maybe 100 of these dog attacks as our shelters be moaning about being over full because of the Corona Panic of 2020 leading to the current recession.

We had a United States Postal Employee, a young lady delivering mail killed by a pack of 3 that was barely reported.

They also raise unvaccinated coyotes who are night stalkers in every neighborhood now responsible for the "disappearance" of dogs and cats and early AM dog walker attacks.

Solid proof of the devolution of mankind now going to the dogs.

Our local UPS driver got attacked by a pitbull during one of his deliveries. It bit him in the face and left him with some nasty scars.

I agree that you should be forced to undergo training and have a license to own a dog. Irresponsible ownership of one can be more dangerous to the public than a firearm.
