Well that's because it's not factual. Cleopatra was not black at all. I was talking about this with my grandmama and grandfather and they said that they were going to see it but as soon as they saw that she was black, they were no longer interested.

also its not a movie it is a documentary series, hence why its even more relevant they get historical facts right

I watched MacBeth the other day, and Denzel was MacBeth.

I quite enjoyed it. Didn't take away from the experience at all, and I've seen A LOT of different versions of MacBeth because it is one of my favorite stories. Even saw a Samurai version.

apparently the quality of the show is really poor, the whole show was built around the 'shock value' of her being black and they didn't put any effort into the rest
