Yes they are more expensive because we pay workers more, provide benefits, and have regulations in place to protect workers on the job.

Imo, that is the cost of doing business. I know I am in the minority on this.

If you shop at any "American" box store like Walmart, Target, Home Depot, 95% of the merchandise is made in China. It's hard to get away from. I do buy American when I can, but it's getting more difficult with globalization of economies.
