They made one of the coolest, most interesting big screen villains ever, and they just killed him off in one movie, with no sequels.

That's a damn shame. Bane deserves a trilogy.

Blasphemy. Bane is the only one who really ever truly broke and beat batman.

The joker killed jason todd, poisoned and corrupted everything batman ever loved and cared about, crippled barbara gordon, tortured all the robins and jim gordon and still he never beat batman. He only made batman stronger and more resolute.

The same way batman makes joker stronger and more insane. They are yin and yang. Order vs chaos. Justice vs depravity. Two opposite forces defining each other.

But bane beat him and broke him.

Bane is what batman is without his heart. They are the same person. No parents, no love, broken as children, haunted by their demons, and it made bane into a cruel monster. But Bruce wayne turned his pain into power and justice. That's why bruce wayne is special because after everyt thing he had to face, and all the power he possesses he should have been a monster, but he became something else.

Bane is bruce wayne's mirror. Joker is his opposing force.

Batman vs joker is an immovable object vs an unstoppable force.

Joker is unrestricted chaos and corruption, and batman is incorruptible righteousness.

Batman and bane use all the same tactics. Have the same exact training and had the same upbringing. They are mirrors of each other.

When bane talks about growing up in darkness, that was the same exact darkness bruce wayne grew up in after his parents died. Bane is what bruce wayne would have become if he had no heart, if he wasn't special.

When bane describes himself, he's also describing bruce wayne.

How the hell is he lame lol. The pain he experienced made him just as strong as batman.

And he's just as cruel and merciless as the joker.

He has no weaknesses, has no concept of mercy or love. He is a monster.

Never been impressed and he is one of the least popular bad guys in Batman

Joker, two face, Riddler, poison ivy , Ras, Harley are all more interesting IMO
