When I joined the service and went to my first duty station in FT Hood i experienced the first sign of racism towards me. Strangely for me it came from three black soldiers. They called me a s/pic and I was ready to throw down. Then they denied it and told me to keep distance. I kept arguing and decided to walk away. I developed a racist hate towards a lot of blacks from that moment forward. Within the last year though I noticed this was only affecting me, nobody else. There's a lot of hate in the world and I refuse to hate on a race just based off the poor ignorance of some. Today I can look at certain blacks and say: "no need for me to hate on you, 90% of the world's population already doing that for me", and move on. Life is great!

An intelligent, cultured , experienced individual has no need to carry bigotry and animosity in his heart.
