I was a big fan once but not so much now. I want him to win fights, especially if he fights the big gyppo, but his crappy, childish attitude, his black power stance during covid and his new gunshy style of fighting means i couldn't really give a toss if he loses.

This is boxing, AJ. The hurt business. People expect you to go out there and HURT somebody. Helenius fought you on one week's notice and it took you 7 rounds to KO him, so the fans booed. You're the former unified HW champion of the world! Helenius is low on the totem pole, yet you fought him like he was a dangerous threat, after Wilder KO'd him in one round. I was impressed that you knocked him out with one big punch, but he shouldn't have been able to bloody your nose like that. If Wilder catches you like Helenius did, he'll knock your head off. No disrespect, but you've got to step it up, brother!

It seems like Joshua got butt hurt by public comments about his in ring abilities. Like it or not, he is in a public profession for the people to watch and have comments and opinions. He has the body of a Greek god that most boxers would envy. If he had half the heart of someone like Holyfield then he would have more fame and recognition beyond his dreams. Instead the public sees his public outbursts after fights and constant whining and flipping trainers like pancakes.

He should take a page out of Ali's book. Keep fighting and winning. After Ali lost to Norton, the public said he was washed up. Then he kept on fighting and winning and then he knocks out George Foreman and the public loves him again. Joshua should embrace the haters, keep fighting and start being more personable and things will take care of themselves.

He just comes off as incredibly arrogant, entitled, and completely unaware of how fortunate he is.

The majority of these comments by sods who have NEVER Stepped in a ring and endured a grueling fight, are core ignorant.
In fact I would say they sound too ****** to even talk.
Joshua is a professional FIGHTER. It doesn't matter if he fights once or twice a year. He is involved in a dangerous Sport where every single time he steps in that ring, he runs the very real risk of receiving a life altering injury or WORSE. This applies to all fighters. To say he has no heart is the height of ******ity.
To call him arrogant and entitled sounds like the words of a low mentality jealous woman. And something else that I notice certain people tend to say lately about fighters who look like Joshua and are relatively successful and well off financially.
The training fighters endure, injuries, the sacrifices made( sacrificing family time etc....)to be in optimum shape to hopefully avoid drastic circumstances, to please people who cackle like a bunch of jackals behind a laptop on social media who are quick to bash a fighter, can understandably turn a fighter off from the media in general. I'm not a Joshua fan but I do believe in fair play and giving these fighter due credit for the sacrifices they make.
My suggestion is try to do what they do for a year and THEN talk.

Joshua is 6'7 and genetically a monster. He hits like a mule. And he chose to become a fighter, no one forced him. Lol. He could have gone in to a far easier line of work, he wanted the money and fame.

He consistently acts like the world is on his shoulders, like he carried British boxing and the pressure of expectations is just too much. So....quit? Boxing is a spectator sport and fans pay for fights to see good fights. AJ lost, but it is how tentative he fights now, and how obviously changed he is, that is causing people to not be as interested.

No one is going to cry for AJ when he has it all....he worked hard for it to be sure. But it isn't like fans are his personal pals. Sheesh. If he needs unconditional love he needs to get a dog. People aren't going to watch him fight scared for round after round and say, "oh well, it's good ol AJ, can't boo him. He is putting me to sleep but he is such a gentleman and so friendly, it's fine".

And him always playing the victim. Cringe. MANY fighters lose, and they don't sit around and whine about how people are such meanies. If he doesn't want to deal with being a prize fighter, go endorse products.
