Tszyu and his team did not want the risk of getting his block knocked off by Vergil, because that’s surely what was next up for him.

Vergil needs to simply move on because that fight will not happen anytime soon..

Ryan vs Vergil is a mega fight in the future, its a bigger fight then Crawford against some no name in the main event.. Ryan is the biggest ascending star in the sport.

Unless I'm missing something...my guy Tim Tsyu just ducked out on Virgil Ortiz to fight the much, much easier Fundora/Spence winner
In all honesty, the hairy portion of your head has a lot more vascular activity than around your eyes and forehead. Tyson had a helluva gash, for damn sure. It’s just beyond the hairline, it’s really going to open and bleed bad every upper facial area shots, plus the sides of the temple and ears!

You people that think Tim is ducking Ortiz are ****ing kidding yourselves!!! He’s absolutely ****** that he can’t fight. The decision was out of his hands. If it was up to him he’d be there with bells on!!

I hope they can make this happen! Bohachuk is a great replacement for Tszyu! I like how things are moving at 154!

Great fight. Rooting for my countryman Bohachuk, but Ortiz is a very powerful fighter.

The stare down for this one will be more intense than any we've seen!

Ridiculous why Tim isn't doing the rematch with Fundora I don't know. Hoping Spence wins then he gets that money fight.
This is on Tim's people for not including a rematch clause in the contract. They accepted a verbal agreement with Lewkowicz. A tragic error.

The rematch clause likely would have incuded language such as rematch Tszyu or drop the WBO belt.. well, Fundora is dropping the WBO belt anyway LOLLL.. WBO was always doing Bud Crawfords & Turki’s dirty work.. Fundora wanted the bigger money and didn’t have to put up with being strong armed.. and Tszyu didn’t deserve a rematch clause anyway, he never earned his strap in the ring anyway!!!

This is good for Ortiz Jr. I think Ortiz Jr makes easy work of him but he could at least give him some rounds. I didn’t think 2 rounds of actual fight action in the past 2 years would make Ortiz Jr ready for Tszyu.
