$50 for 6 lessons, 2 hours a lesson.. was actually worth it because they have 2 different classes at my gym the boxers class and the fighters class, the trainers would choose people for the fighters class so there was only like 3 people in there at the time.. and there are alot of days people didnt show up, so I would get alot of 1 on 1 time with our trainer.
My gym is free, paid for by the Ecuadorian government. I have my own gloves, headguard, jump rope etc and I pretty much train myself. I gave the trainer some cash asking him to occasionally give advice etc but hasnt done ****. As a foreigner he mentioned a membership fee that they are gonna introduce but thats bull****, and he like nearly every other Ecuadorian thinks a foreigner is rich and will try to scam money out of them. I buy stuff for the gym, like jump ropes or whatever occasionally too but the fact is it is free and I pay tax here too so I am not gonna pay when no-one else does especially when I get no training from the trainer.
currently at fighting at 140lb, junior welter, thats the weight class i want to fight at atleast, but as far as amatuers go, its 135, but i got to bust my ass to make the weight.
