Lipton after being banished by the NJ commish and law enforcement establishment because of his testimony in the Rubin Carter fiasco, was exonerated after a belated investigation of that trial and is back to refereeing and writing fantasy pieces for Ring, so good on him, one of the nice guys in this world.

His story is, however, blatant fiction. Greb by decision, or Ketchel by KO, take your pick or pick you nose, whatever works for you.

I thought the ending a 'cop out' as they use to say.

Greb got the fight; Ketchel got the KD.

Everyone got to feel good about their guy. Eh!

Yeah, that was kind of weak. I enjoyed the very END though......which is why there could never be a rematch, fantasy or not. Greb going to the hospital (where he dies under anesthesia) and Ketchel going for some R&R where is was shot and killed. History interwoven with fiction.
