Sharkey was the stand out challenger when Jeffries by passed him and you said Jeffries never fought anyone 3 times ,as though that was some kind of unwritten rule to be abided, by some kind of excuse for not fighting him again.

Are you feeling okay because you aren't making any sense!

This is interesting: Fighters back then felt a need to come in light, fighters today a need to heft up... Are these just prejudices? Makes one think. To me I would rather always be as light as possible.
George often came in far too light, his frame could have carried 235-40 easily.

He is the proverbial brick s*ithpuse.

I wouldn't know if it is or isn't would I? I'm not the man here claiming to know the era well. That said, telling me more and more about Sharkey doesn't answer anything. Seems like you know a lot about Jeff and Sharkey and that's about it. Do you even know another turn of the century fighter's name? How about Maher?

Why didn't Sharkey give Maher a fight in 1900? Beat Goddard, Ruhlin, Kennedy, etc.

See how weird that is? It's just some rando time appropriate fight that could have but didn't happen because very lateral and agreeable fights did. Much like this whole ****ing thread bro, so TF you talking weird for? This entire exercise is weird British **** stacked high.

I know Maher he had a series of fights with Steve O Donnell. My mate Matt Donnellson knows more about him than me, having written a well received biography of him,Peter Maher The Irish Champion ,but I'm pretty up to speed on him,Maher was a big punching, less than sturdy jawed Irishman who tangled with nearly everyone of his era
I'm also familiar with Choynski The Chrysanthemum Man, Jackson,Slavin,Ruhlin, Goddard another big puncher, and most of the other prominent fighters of that era.

I've been following boxing for over 65 years so,I'd have to be pretty slow not to have picked some info along the way,not by any means an expert ,but reasonably knowledgeable ,imo.

Sharkey didn't give Maher a fight in1900 because Maher lost to both McCoy and Choynski in the previous two years, both of whom were ko victims of Sharkey, and consequently there was no demand for the fights. Maher hadnt beaten Ruhlin at that time they had drawn their1899 fight, and Kennedy was a novice whom Maheralso kod in2 rds in1899.
I see you are back to your usual M.O with the personal jibes ,why am I not surprised, after all, it's all you have to offer.
