I heard that tyson used to sapr with mccall in the 80's. But what would of the outcome of been if the two had a fight in the 80's early 90's. McCall had a great chin and good power but not the best boxing skill and his emotions let him down. Tyson was tyson in the 80's the best. Who would of won?

On the question of McCall's style..........I suppose 99% of the time he was a come forward, aggressive, orthodox slugger. To see him at his best is to watch him vs Lewis (1) and Holmes. A good come from behind victory that I enjoyed too was against Akinwande........but he was post prime there!
He had good power and passable counterpunching ability. An amazing chin and ability to absorb punishment........one of the best I've seen to be honest, which is why I think Tyson decisions him rather than KOs him. Although you couldn't outrule him being saved by a ref or his corner on punishment absorbed!
He was certainly world class in the early to mid 90s but in my opinion not in the league of Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, Foreman or even Mercer for me.Last edited by Sugarj; 07-17-2010, 06:24 PM.

The problem is that there is two Tyson, the good one KO McCall because he was faster and not a easy target, the other Tyson that lost to Douglas wouldnt give that much trouble to McCall who also had his problems. A strange fight could also happened like one might bite the other while hes crying.
