Wlad beat Byrd whilst Vit recovering from shoulder surgery. DKing brought Byrd back with an IBF title fight with Field, making Byrd off limits for the Ks. Wlad gave Byrd an immediate rematch and pay above his DKing station as soon as he was able to ditch King.

It's like what grade was you in then?
How does any of this change the FACT Vits never sought a rematch? I swear, the simplest things just seem to magically escape you!! If Vits wanted the rematch after surgery Wlad would have waited his turn, just like if Wlad wanted the Sanders rematch he could have had it. No amount of twisting in the wind will change this.

He did fight Brewster in a rematch. but that the only one I can think of. I would agree that Holmes and Wlad fought in a very weak era. I got into a discussion with a few boxing fans About Jerry Quarry. This guy did very well in a very tough era. But he's not in the HOF.

Can't really use this one since Brewster was off for 15 months after losing to Liakhovich, and was on medical suspension in the US for a detached retina. He wasn't half the fighter he wad in their first meeting.

              Flase!!!!

Ps-if Vits was beating Byrd so decisively why was he being backed up by the much smaller and light hitting Byrd? Why did Vits only land 8 more punches in 9 rounds with all his advantages? Yes, TOTAL DOMINATION!!
I felt like Vit quit just as the tide of the fight was turning Byrd's way.

But it may have been that Vit was actually hurt and that's why the worm was turning against him.

He was winning the fight, but most of the rounds were close. If you watched the fight with the sound off you would have never known he was hurt. It is what it is. I'm of the mind a champion should try and redeem himself must
ch the way Jose Naples did when he lost his title to Billy Backus.

Eat a chicken sandwich and you're eating/injecting lots of drugs into your body.

What you don't do is illicit drugs, your body, like mine, is full of drugs you never knew you were ingesting.

So what's the big deal of adding illicit drugs to the mix?

                      - - Roy with HBO ringside screaming to stop the fight by the 3rd round because of the lopsided beating Wlad was giving him. Brewster had zero credentials other than being used as an illicit dupe by DKing who had some insider gummint contacts to cop a secret illicit drug for use.
