i dont know about others but i like boxing history section better with this kind of modding.
i dont know about being an online tough guy. id say he prefers to hurmor himself by insulting people its not like hes going around picking fights and claiming he beat people down in real life.

but the trolls have just as much to say about the insults as anything especially since they can call jab out on favortitism....even though its non existant.

as we now have a mod that can remove troll posts i think its just better to ignore them till they are removed rather then adding fuel to the fire.

any insult you say online that you wouldnt say to another man on the street makes you a hard man on the Internet. He's calmed down a lot more in recent months, you dont even want to know what he posted a year ago, when he was at his peak.

yeah ignore is the best bet for sure, funny thing with Poet though is that he flames and insults everyone on his ignore list, this is not normal behaviour from a man who is suppousedly in his 40s.

anyway done talking about Poet, he's not worth another second.

as i said before a case can be made for Marciano being the hardest trainer in the gym, but it's hard to make that assesment because we can only form an opinion from written accounts, but his performances in the ring seem to confirm his slave work in the gym.

i understand that some of the posters arnt worth the time or the respect but they dont want your time or your respect..they just want attention and to them being insulted is no diffrent then getting a 5 page thought out response.

aswell people that you might consider trolls can make posts that arent intended to troll. reguardless of who makes the post if the post is only sharring their opinion i think it deserves the respect of no response at all and if you do want to make a response as you opinion differs i think you should atleast point out why your opinion differs and not a post of empty insults so jab can delete it.
Well, I would point out I have 0 tolerance for ******ity and nuthugging. Nuthuggers need to take their **** to NSB where it belongs and idiots need to simply STFU. Like my sig reads "Fools Are NOT Suffered Gladly". I have no problems telling village idiots to shut up and sit down. The people who do the seriel trolling like Die Antwood I simply use as objects of my amusement. I have neither the need nor the desire to be liked by EVERYONE.....in fact, if certain people such as the idiots, nuthuggers, and seriel trolls DO like me then to my mind I'm doing something wrong. I'm liked by the people I have respect for as human beings and that's sufficient for me. Maybe it WOULD be better to simply ignore the idiots but again I have 0 tolerance for ******ity and it just isn't in my nature to let a moronic comment go by with out pointing out it's idiocy. And in truth I just say what others only think.

As to the comments by BK.....I would point out that I've never had any problems telling idiots that they're idiots IRL. If they don't like it too bad: I wasn't put on this Earth to get along with EVERYONE. I firmly believe that there are definately people out there who SHOULDN'T be gotten along with and I have no desire to do so. So, respond to the other poster, you'd be surprised at what I would say to people's faces. If they are idiots or azzholes or whatever I'm ill inclined to give them any respect IRL any more than I would here. I reserve my respect for people I actually DO respect.

Im not sure if Rock was the hardest working heavyweight in the gym, really for us its impossible to tell. What i do know is at one point he worked harder than any other guy out there and this is true for all the great heavyweights (all the great fighters in general actually).

It's one of those things I suppose that's debatable but we do know that Marciano was a conditioning freak who practically lived in the gym. The man did have incredible stamina.

From the fights I have seen of Marciano his stamina was very rare. He threw many hard power punches a round. He trained hard but to get to that level you need natural endurance. There may be boxers who train as hard but just don't have his natural ability.

I will simply add that while many might at certain instances of their life have worked as hard as Marciano and more, the Rock came in each fight in the best shape and did let go at a stage when he knew he was not physically upto it which to me is vitally important. That cannnot be said of any other fighter, not even Frazier (was not in shape at least two fights), nor Holyfield( did not let go when he had to and in Bowe 3 though due to obvious reasons was not in prime shape) or Vitaly( who did gas badly against Lewis the only decent heavy he faced).

                    Rocky?

Rocky Marciano couldn't of been working that hard I mean I don't discredit you guy in terms of what he was able to achieve but his body tone was never quite there and call it putting on weight for the fight but I believe Evander Holyfield worked harder, that being said he is a steroid abuser so it's a real toss up I mean work in the gym is maybe sometimes different to the George Foreman tree chopping exercises.

as for Vitali Klitschko I really do doubt he still takes steroids but based on the fact he admitted to taking them I can't really consider him the hardest working but wait what about Wladimir? you can't say he isn't in the equation

He is one of many. There is no way to gauge whether he was the hardest worker.
