There was a Hopkins fight I remember watcing recently. I think it was against Hakkar, maybe Eastman. I remember not only was it not good, but I remember Larry Merchant even asking in the post fight interview shouldn't Hopkins be embarrased about having to fight someone like that, but what choice did he have really if the guy was a mandatory challenger, Hopkins didn't want to be stripped of a title belt.
