[QUOTE=SBleeder;9614501]I can answer that: Liston would decapitate Frazier.

I thought it might be a competitive fight. But maybe you are right could be a bad match up for Frazier stylistically.

Bowe would be neither of those and would be trading with Tyson as he traded with Holyfield
the thing with Tyson is that he had a much better defense and hit much harder then holyfield. so bowe wouldn't have been able to exchange with Tyson for long, definitely not till the final bell
I think Tyson would stop him in 10 rounds
Eh...I don't know about that. If Rid**** came in at his absolute best (big if, but for the sake of argument), he could keep Tyson at the end of his jab and land some tremendous right hands. Now Tyson (who's far from a lock to be at his best) would land some good body shots and he could knock Rid**** down. But this is the kind of fight, the kind of slugfest that would be less about physical gifts, which they both have in excess, and more about who could dig deeper and do what it takes to win. Who do you have more confidence to do that? Because I've seen Rid**** Bowe dig deep and win fights after he's been hurt - have you seen Tyson do that? Because I haven't. If he had trouble with a fighter, he started to fold as his confidence faded.

Duran only had two losses up to 147: DeJesus (which I'd say is the equivalent of Floyd's gift win over Castillo) and Leonard. No Leonards on Mayweather's record. If Mayweather tackled Benitez, Hearns, Hagler, Barkley and co at 154 and above his record would probably have a few more losses too.

As to 140lb fantasy fights, Henry Armstrong vs Aaron Pryor: two turbo-charged locomotives smashing into at each other at 100mph. Obviously Armstrong is the greater legend but in a one-off fight anyone can win. Who knows who wins but what a tear up it'd be.

Mike would be slipping that jab though, it would be less effective against mike because holyfield didn't have the same defensive skills that tyson did. He would land his fair share but I just don't think he would be landing as much on mike then he did Holyfield.

I think there's little doubt that bowe has shown more guts and heart then Tyson. That's a very good arguement. But mike did have some trouble with Tillis, Tucker, and Rudduck. He definitely did get hurt by Rudduck and proceded to chop him down and stop him. I do agree that bowe has been known to dig deep more often.

To me the problem with this fight is that Bowe was able to win the exchanges with Holyfield because he hit harder and his size. The size difference would still be there, but Tyson would definitely still hold his own in the exchanges with his power and speed. Bowe wouldn't look to box or dance around like tucker or tillis did. That's why I think Tyson would have a much easier time. He would find bowe and eventually wear him down. A UD for Tyson is also likely because bowe would stay in there till the end.

Also something bowe would do is fight inside with Tyson instead of using his size and weight advantage to wear him down in the clinches. this gives Tyson more of a chance to score and hurt bowe more often.

It's still a very close fight. and like you said if Tyson starts to fade or lose confidence like he did in the holyfield fight then bowe has a huge chance to stop him in the same fashion.

I agree with almost everything you said except for the outcome. That would have been an epic heavyweight war.

It would be a war for sure. I just think mike edges it on ability. Bowe's size and heart could even it out though.
so do you see bowe winning it?

My first thought was that he would get stopped, but that's a little ******. I think that Pryor wins fairly convincingly, though. Awesome, exciting war though. Good pick.
Yeah man, this would be a nail biter for sure. I agree Chavez was best at 130/135.

The reason why I picked Chavez over Pryor was based on durability, chin, and his effective body punching.

Pryor is an offensive animal like you said, but a toe-to-toe war would favor Chavez when it's gets to the later rounds. Just my opinion.

Pryor fighting aggressively is one of his strengths, but I think that would be his downfall against Chavez.

Chavez always found a way to beat guys who were faster, more athletic and technically superior to him.

Yeah, by late stoppage. I'm going to run the fight a couple of times in Title Bout, though because I'm really intrigued.

Yeah, I want to say Chavez would win, he's one of my favorites, but I wouldn't bet on it. It would certainly be a nail biter.
