    PS - Some sources counted the #11 contenders, if so, Maxie was 2-2 so that would bring the total to
    46-23-12 (1-3 ND)

      I suspect we might be surprised if we looked at Nino Benvenuti's numbers.

      Certainly wouldn't match Greb but compared to post-war fighters he might have impressive numbers. He cleaned out both the Jr. MW and MW divisions, going 64-0 before he was finally jobbed in South Korea and then finally really losing in his second go with Griffith.

      When Benvenuti took on Monzon he had already defeated seven of The Ring's top ten MWs.
