Who should Tyson Fury fight next?

Surely it has to be a 'ranked' contender?

It has to be Price, that's the fight the whole of the UK is crying out for. But as House of Stone said, anybody on that list would be great. I'd be surprised though, I reckon another journeyman will be next.

I vote for Michael Grant. I think the Price fight can wait another year. Time for him to fight someone big. Grant not 'world' ranked but still a decent test (better than anything Fury has fought since Chisora). Plus the selling point. Grant's only loss in last 9 years was on points to Adamek. That was also his first & only points loss. Can Fury better that?

I like Fury, he's my current favorite heavyweight and I love how they are leading his career.
I like how he looked in this fight with his new slim body. He's very impressive at catching smaller opponents on their way in and also is doing good job at grabing them when they are close. I saw every single of his fights and I belive he's still improving. People want to rush him to title shot because he already have that Chisora win on his record, but if I was his manager, I would wait with that and I mean really wait, like till begining of 2014.
Before that, I'd like him to face guys like Audley Harrison, Matt Skelton, Sam Sexton, make his U.S debut against some decent fighter, get another undefeated bum on his record like Leif Larsen or someone and just keep learning. If there was a chance to fight guys like Tomasz Adamek or Ruslan Chagaev, those are the fight that he could take, but I wouldn't make him fight bigger punchers like Helenius, Price, or Arreola just yet. Kid has a time and I hope he knows it.
absolutely brilliant post, people are forgetting he's a young fella and a work in progress, he's only just addressed his fitness issues... Chisora was a great win and showed his potential... Harrison, Skelton, Sprott and that ilk are what we're talking for a sensible few fights

Why rush a young British prospect just cos he has made a big name for himself doesn't mean he needs to be in big fights... Yet.

People should cut him some slack and enjoy his progression...

Personally id love to see him fight Price. Thats a fight i can't see being made anytime soon though, and maybe there is no need for them to rush to fight eachother just yet.

As other have said Fury is young so i don't see any reason in rushing him to fast. A few fights against some durable, seasoned pros would help his progress in the long run. Although i think he needs to step up from the level hes faced in his last few fights.

I'd like to see him fight Arreola.

But someone like Travis Walker or Chazz Witherspoon would also be decent. Chazz nearly put Seth Mitchell away. They're dangerous fighters at this stage in Tyson's development.

I voted Price, but I agree that the fight can wait a while. Yeah someone like Chazz Witherspoon would be a good test!
