put it this way....rousey had how many fights before she headlined a ppv? How many did McGregor have?
Mayweather didnt headline a PPV until he was fighting in his 3rd divison, had won 2 lineal titles and had 11 defenses
He put in a lot of work they didnt have to....and it wasnt because they accomplished a lot
the media hyped them up as soon as theygot some decent wins, but a proven fighter has every fight he has won get criticized. Whether the opposition is great good or not

Kovalev is white and has won 3 world titles and KO'd more opponents than Rousey and McGreggor put together, but he doesn't headline PPVs or get hyped by the media.
