Hatton is at a whole different level then gatti, and mayweather had trouble with inside fighters like castillo and delahoya, and they were both out of their prime, Hatton is at his peak right now and I don't see him losing, you people that compare him to the likes of Gatti and Baldy are complete ignorants.
Hatton is smaller than Zab, Sharmba, and PBF. Less height and reach.

Gatti was a good fighter and faced better opposition than Hatton has. Credit is due. Hatton has gotten by on shady calls/reffing via home turf and shot fighters. Yes he has fought here...Collazo, a virtual no name [even here] beat him IMO. That was a wash. PBF had no problem w/DLH whos got 3x more talent than Hatton will ever have. DLH is not in his prime atm either. What does a string of losses say about a guy? Take a look @ the DLH of the 90's...thats prime DLH.

Look @ Hattons record...not the most impressive for names. Old Phillips, shady ref for Tszyu. Shot Oliviera...and a shot Castillo. What else is on there thats super impressive? Beating Tackie isnt that impressive IMO. Tackie is good but come now.

He is slower, but only marginally. He is certainly quicker than Cotto, who everybody seems to think has a better chance. Hatton's technique and accuracy in body punching proves to be very hurtful too.

He hasn't really 'hand picked' his opposition. People who hand pick their opposition are the ones who don't take risks. Hatton has come abroad, fought the wrong fighters stylistically to make an impression and has fought for world titles. Also, it's not as if Floyd hasn't hand picked his opposition. The mid thirty year olds Gatti, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Mitchell, etc, etc...

Hatton is anything but a walking target. To hit Hatton flush and with the full extension of your arm you are going to have to be super sharp. He will be feinting all night long forcing Mayweather into moves and Hatton will act on that and not allow Mayweather to fight on the outside.
Obviously spoken by someone that can't fight! Maybe if you put on gloves and try boxing and not talk about so much you'd make more sense. You ****ing wannabe boxing analyst kill me!!!!! Just shut the **** and wait for the fight. You have no clue how it will play out. I bet your ******ed ass probably take your barbie dolls and actually do blow by blow commentaries of fights. Moron!

If all these guys can toil at Welterweight, what is the struggle for Ricky?
If bigger you mean FAT...then yes I agree. Height and reach I think Hatton is prolly the smallest.

Well, if you only go by height, then you will say that Mike Tyson was always the smallest welterweight.

Hatton was lean and in-shape for Castillo. He weighed 150.

          FMJ was 148 for Delahoya.

Zab was 150 for the mayweather fight. Not sure for the Cotto fight.

How the hell would you know whether i've been in a ring or not - or even a fight?

I've never proclaimed myself to be a boxing analyst but i'm saying it as i see it and usually back up my claims with facts. This results in people responding who cannot debate constructively, yourself for example have resorted to insults because you don't know how to correctly respond to my post.

I enjoy watching fights, but unlike some others i don't sit there scoring each round. I'm fairly confident anyway that i have been in a higher level of education than you.

            Sort yourself out, kid.

Actually, the two best punches of the fight were landed by Floyd.
                1) The punch that buckled Oscar in rd 5 (1:21)
                2) The punch that sent Oscar backwards at the end of rd 8

I see INTERNET POSTERS always talk about Floyd being feather-fisted. He has no power. Etc. Wanna know who never says that? The guys he actually FOUGHT.

                Why is that?

Tyson a small welterweight? Not many guys 5'11" @ WW is there? You musta meant HW right?

I go by height and reach...its all the stats we have. We dont have chest diameter or measurements of leg girth.

I thought PBF was 152...not that it really matters anyway.
