We're not really talking "of late" either, are we? Chavez was the last credible opponent that he stopped and it wasn't really a proper stoppage.
Not a proper stoppage? Did you see this fight? Now I don't think Floyd was winning this fight, but a man can only take so many uppercuts to the chin, Chaves was looking like a bobble-head by the time that fight was stopped.

What i'm getting to is that I believe Floyd does have surprising power when he sits down on his punches. Alot of his opponents said after their fights with Floyd that he hits harder than you think.

Not in the traditional sense it wasn't - Chavez was never out on his feet. His corner were right to stop it though - I had Floyd up by a couple of rounds and it wasn't going to get any better for Chavez.

to be honest, i thought that could have been Floyds first loss had it gone the distance, i've never seen anyone as effective against Floyd then Chavez, but the damage done to Chavez if that fight would have continued might have ended his career.

It may be surprising but it's certainly not substantial enough to deter Hatton from his game plan.

Floyd is going to have to work for every second of every round unless he lucks out and causes a nasty cut.

Mitchell, Brussels, Gatti all in 05' = 2 years

                  Ndou 03' = 3 years 1 month

                  Chavez, Corales 01' = 5 & 6 years

This is the last I'm going to say about this:

Hatton is going to git shredded to ribbons.
