Breaking: Kambosos demanded 380k plus purse in escrow to agree to move date to Oct 16. Triller didn't budge and fight went to DAZN. Kambosos was slated to make $2,106,300 but will now earn $1,527,100

Triller obtained a signed ********* from Lopez to move the fight to Oct. 16 after advancing the boxer $100,000, but Kambosos declined the same offer and requested $380,000 to sign, along with purses in escrow. Triller balked and has now forfeited its $1.2 million deposit, with 75% headed to Lopez ($900,000). Kambosos will take home $300,000 from the deposit.

Lopez was set to earn $3,911,700 (65% of Triller's bid) but will now get $3,178,000, counting the $900,000 from Triller's deposit. Kambosos was slated to make $2,106,300 but will now earn $1,527,100, counting the $300,000 from Triller's deposit.

At least the fight should go ahead now but after lawyer's fees I doubt that Kambosis will end up with anything near his original prize. Oh well, big bad USA

Don't blame Kambosos. Fight had been postponed five times, contracts littered with typos and without specifics on venues and then you have Mike Tyson claiming they shortchanged him.

Kambosis wasn’t obligated to agree to move the date. That’s the point of the contract.

Triller ****ed him time and time again throughout the year, so when they announced the move without his agreement he decided they either needed to honor the contract or make it worth his while to move it for the millionth time.

He is still making a lot of money AND he gets to **** Triller over. Win-win.

Thriller is some low budget fly by night operation. They didnt have all the chit lined up on their end, whether thats venue and other contracts ready to go so they tell the fighters we going to push it 2 weeks out on short notice. what in the ***. They basically are incapable of hosting an event which is their sole job.

You cant even say the fighters are for sure makign less money, with tyson saying Thriller didnt pay him correctly, and with the possibility that Thriller delays it yet again... by fighting on DAZN atleast he knows he will get the claimed amount.
