Haney is a clone of Mayweather and not a great one at that. Potshotter with no combinations and not fully engaging. And why the refs allow this amount of clinching an use of forearms by Haney in the clinch is beyond me. Kambosis reached his peak against Lopez and Haney exposed his limitations. He did not and does not belong at the elite levels.
Lomachenko is levels above and those who think Haney will have his way against Loma better think again. Study Loma’s fights: he is a master at closing the distance in an instant and moving to the sides catching opponents unawares. Yes he lost to an inspired Lopez who himself may have had his peak fight agains Loma.
A big, strong heavyweight looks ridiculous fighting scared.
So? neither do most of the lightweight division but they aren't holding each other tenderly for vast majorities of the fight.
Did you mock AJ for fighting scared against Ruiz, Usyk? or others like him. Just because people don't clinch doesn't mean they don't fight scared in other ways...
And it's tactical to jab, grab and lean - Haney on the other hand becomes way more prolific with it when he gets touched by anything close to a meaningful punch, he's reliant on it because he lacks defence beyond his multi varied jab, he'd be in serious trouble if he was in with someone as clinch averse as Spence for example...

I did mock AJ, actually. Anytime he tried to open up in the Ruiz rematch he got scared at the return fire, and he couldn't stop the smaller Usyk from hurting him.
If it's tactical to jab, grab, and lean then just apply that same criteria to ALL fighters who do it. Don't be selective about who you're going to criticize for it.

I will be because as I said it's different and at heavyweight their respective weight, height and reach advantage(s) can be astronomical so it's not only different it's vastly different and if you can't comprehend that I'm quite frankly mind blown.
Heavyweights are a different breed and should be treat as such, so much so it could be treat as a different sport, the way they've got to train, fight everything is different.
So naturally I'm going to treat them differently and how I critique them.

That's your prerogative.
At least Haney hurt Kambosos and almost had him out yesterday. Didn't completely put me to sleep like most Wlad fights.
interesting, I remember people complaining about Lennox and his "boring" jab and grab style... shít his "stoppage" of Tyson was him leaning on him after landing a right hand.
P.S. Oh and of course I forgot to add in Wlad fights their is jeopardy on both sides, Wlad could land and KO his opponent or be KO'd the same cannot be said of Haney, IF a KO happens it's to Haney.

Definitive win for Haney but that fight didn't start until round 9. Kambosos switching from left to right was goofy as **** looked so bad man, but I don't blame him Haney is a serial clincher, that **** needs to stop.
He has good footwork I don't understand why he just doesn't evade and reset he could've landed that right hand at will all night but just chose to pot shot and grab for the majority of the fight. Haney will never be marketable like Floyd. It's ok to not have power but you need to throw combinations and be entertaining, you can keep winning but in terms of popularity you won't become a draw like that.
