Damn, 18 days! Sounds like you needed medical attention! TMI, btw.
I was 18, so enthusiastic about the trip that I didn't realize what was happening with the abundant intake of junk food, plus the various differences in times and habits. At the end, my big sister and I went to some sort of vegan restaurant, I ate a whole plate of something that looked like a garden's green grass, and voil?
PICK EM CREW - maybe better to say in headline that the fight is "Saturday - USA (sunday in Australia)" - otherwise might be some who miss it
also a reminder to all - i think we only have a total of two x5 for all this year this year
I actually had precisely that in mind when I was thinking about the thread - even checked the scheduling cos increasingly the bigger Aussie fights have gravitated towards working to the US primetime but then neglected to include a note to that effect in the OP. Basically although this says it's formally a Sunday fight by standard intenational TZs and protocol, for the puposes of the anglophone world it's efectively a US Saturday night regular.
IDK though - it is an international site which is the very reason I've made a point of including the UTC amongst the header information, and my thinking is that that puts everyone on a level playing field.
And WRT to the masterthread and formalising this years rule set I am gonna try to get at least something up over the next few days even if it's just a minimalist rule set without my traditional long winded preamble. I really wanted to get something up on the 1st which would have been the 5 year anniversary of the original 2018 Pick Em Redux thread but I'm still here sat squnting like a a mole between my screen and keboard trying to make sure what I'm typing is actually legible. Used to be I could rattle out I post like this in 30 secs but ATMis feeling like running a marathon..
Why are you on Tim's bandwagon? a washed Horn and Mundine and Gausha?
I'm not on it but might jump on depending how this fight plays out.
Regardless of his opponents to date (and, anyway, Gausha was a good test IMO), I'm seeing something seriously solid inside little Tim. Then we have Harrison's suspect chin, the fight occurring in Tszyu's backyard, and in my mind the chances of an upset are slim and none.
Keep this post handy on Sunday, after Harrison's win
