All in all, I feel like a Waterloo is expecting me this weekend, both in terms of betting and this very League... Let's hope in the old "every dog has its day" adage

Not to mention my tumble down the Pick Em standings (...upcoming...)

You know a lot about boxing but seem to have a love of risky picks which is to your detriment but probably adds intrigue to your life. On a philosophical note I once had a conversation with a friend who also was habitually late to appointments or at least only just making them. After doing the "and why is that" analysis, drilling down, we concluded it's because in some trivial way it added excitement to our lives - having to do everything faster, artificial stress to arrive to beat the clock and arrive on time. That's why I like to bet small on what I watch - it gives me skin in the game and makes it just that little bit more exciting.Last edited by SteveM; 04-02-2023, 09:23 AM.
